Artist statement:
As a result of my grandparents being diagnosed with dementia, I developed a deep fear of losing my loved ones. So I based the first ten pictures in my portfolio on the music album "Everywhere at the end of time" by The Caretaker. The album depicts the six stages of the progression of dementia. As high school is the time where we grow the most, I wanted to collect all of my memories to keep with me as I grow older. At the beginning of 2020, I began to go on daily walks and treasure the small, simple details of my coming-of-age period.
